The Sub-Committee on the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) of the Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) revoked Stage-III of GRAP across the entire NCR with immediate effect on 17 January 2025, after Delhi's average AQI improved to 289 ("Very Poor"). GRAP Stages III and IV had been invoked on 15 January when Delhi's AQI breached 350, and Stage IV was revoked on 16 January when the AQI improved to 302. Actions under Stages I and II remain in force across the NCR. The Sub-Committee acted in pursuance of the Supreme Court's directions.
