GRAP enforcement in Delhi-NCR for 15–31 October 2024 reported

On 3 November 2024, the Environment Ministry reported on actions taken in Delhi-NCR under Stages I and II of the revised GRAP from 15 to 31 October 2024.

Summary

On 3 November 2024, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change reported the targeted actions taken by agencies from 15 to 31 October 2024 under the revised Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) of the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) in NCR and Adjoining Areas. Stage I of GRAP has been in force across NCR since 15 October 2024 and Stage II since 22 October 2024. A GRAP Monitoring Control Room, headed by a Member of CAQM, has been set up since 15 October. To control road dust, an average of 81 mechanical road sweeping machines were deployed daily in Delhi alone.
