The 129th meeting of the Enforcement Task Force (ETF) of the Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) was held on 17 April 2026, the Environment Ministry said. It reviewed 162 inspections by the Commission's flying squads between 27 March and 10 April 2026: 25 at construction and demolition (C&D) sites, 28 in industry and 109 of diesel generator (DG) sets. These found 64 violations (14 C&D, 8 industrial, 42 DG sets), and closure was proposed for 9 units and sealing of DG sets for 18 units. A road-dust drive in the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram on 7 April found 126 violations. The flying squads have inspected 26,834 units, projects or entities so far.
