A stakeholder workshop on 'Strengthening Camel Milk Value Chain in India' was held in Bikaner, Rajasthan, on 20 December 2024 by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD) with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and ICAR-National Research Centre on Camel, as part of the International Year of Camelids, which the United Nations declared for 2024.
