The government makes 28 grades of P&K fertilisers available at subsidised prices through manufacturers and importers, and subsidy on P&K fertilisers has been governed by the NBS scheme since 1 April 2010. The rates take into account recent trends in international prices of fertilisers and inputs such as urea, DAP, MOP and sulphur.
