Cabinet approves copra MSP for 2026 season: ₹12,027 per quintal for milling copra, ₹12,500 for ball copra

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved on 12 December 2025 the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for copra for the 2026 season. The copra MSP for Fair Average Quality milling copra is ₹12,027 per quintal, up ₹445, and for ball copra ₹12,500 per quintal, up ₹400 over the previous season. Since the 2014 marketing season, the MSP has risen 129% for milling copra and 127% for ball copra. NAFED and the National Cooperative Consumers' Federation (NCCF) will continue as Central Nodal Agencies for copra procurement under the Price Support Scheme.
