It will be built in about four years by Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC), a 50:50 joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat, and is expected to serve about 23,702 passengers in 2029 and 58,059 in 2041. Ahmedabad Metro Phases I and II already cover 68.28 km with 53 stations.
