C-DOT's AI fraud-detection tool FraudPro among top Glomo Award finalists at MWC 2026

C-DOT's AI-driven fraud detection platform FraudPro was named among the top finalists of the GSMA's Global Mobile (Glomo) Awards at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, the Communications Ministry said on 12 March 2026.

The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), the government's telecom R&D centre, said on 12 March 2026 that its indigenous fraud-detection platform FraudPro had made the top finalists of the Global Mobile (Glomo) Awards at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, in the Best Network Security and Fraud Prevention category. The Glomo Awards are organised by the GSMA. FraudPro uses artificial intelligence, machine learning and facial image deduplication to detect forged documents and fraudulent mobile connections, and is deployed by the Department of Telecommunications.
