On 24 October 2025, Project Arunank of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) celebrated its 18th Raising Day at Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh. Raised in 2008, it has built and maintained over 696 km of roads and 1.18 km of major bridges. A landmark is the 278 km Hapoli–Sarli–Huri road in Kurung Kumey district, blacktopped for the first time since Independence and upgraded to NHDL standards in 2020. Connectivity to Maza, the last frontier along the Line of Actual Control, was established on 28 December 2022, and the TCC–Maza road is due to open in November 2025. Under 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam', 23,850 trees were planted in the state.
