Bihar's first-ever International Buyer-Seller Meet (IBSM), a two-day event at Gyan Bhawan, Patna, was concluded by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries with the Government of Bihar, APEDA and the Trade Promotion Council of India, the Ministry said on 21 May 2025. Union Food Processing Minister Chirag Paswan addressed the meet. Over 70 international buyers from 20 countries, more than 50 domestic and 20 institutional buyers took part in over 500 B2B meetings. An MoU was signed between APEDA, the Government of Bihar and UAE-based Lulu Group to extend the shelf life and export potential of Bihar's litchis.
