Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav chaired the 43rd meeting of the Central Zoo Authority (CZA) at the National Zoological Park, New Delhi, on 3 February 2026. He directed completion of the second round of Management Effectiveness Evaluation (MEE) of zoos. The meeting set up a sub-committee to examine CSR contributions for zoos and decided that CZA will meet more often, in line with the Standing Committee of the National Board for Wildlife. CZA also marked its 34th Foundation Day.
