Bharat NCX 2025, the National Cybersecurity Exercise, was inaugurated on 21 July 2025 by Deputy National Security Advisor T.V. Ravichandran, in the presence of Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Bimal N. Patel. The National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) conducts the exercise in collaboration with RRU under the theme "Enhancing the Operational Preparedness of Indian Cyberspace". The two-week exercise brings together cybersecurity professionals, policymakers, defence personnel and industry to simulate real-world incidents such as attacks on critical infrastructure, deepfake manipulation, autonomous malware and API security breaches.
