On 18 November 2024, the Bharat National Cyber Security Exercise (Bharat NCX 2024) was inaugurated at a ceremony organised by the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) in collaboration with Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU). The 12-day exercise runs from 18 to 29 November 2024 and includes training in cyber defence and incident response, live-fire simulations of cyberattacks on IT and OT systems, and a strategic decision-making exercise. National Cyber Security Coordinator Lt Gen M U Nair (Retd) gave the inaugural address, and RRU Vice Chancellor Bimal N Patel the keynote.
