He clocked 1:22.482 to finish 0.1 seconds ahead of Switzerland's Livio Wenger for the last podium place; Spain's Jhoan Sebastian Guzman Bitar won gold and Colombia's Jhon Edwar Tascon Holguin took silver. It was India's first medal in roller skating at the World Games and India's third medal of the edition, taking the tally to one silver and two bronze, India's highest medal count in a single edition. In 2021 he had become the first Indian to win a World Championships medal in the sport, a silver in the junior men's 15000m elimination race in Ibague, Colombia.
