Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the Shri Motibhai R. Chaudhary Sagar Sainik School and the Sagar Organic Plant in Mehsana district, Gujarat, by video conference on 13 November 2025, with Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel present.

The Motibhai Chaudhary Sagar Sainik School is spread over 11 acres and built at a cost of ₹50 crore, with smart classrooms, hostels and a library; it is one of the 100 new Sainik Schools the Centre is setting up under the PPP model. The Sagar Organic Plant, with a daily capacity of about 30 metric tonnes, is certified under the National Programme for Organic Production and is meant to help organic produce reach markets under the Amul brand. Shah said Doodhsagar Dairy, which runs both projects, has a turnover of ₹8,000 crore.
