Amit Shah said drugs worth ₹1.89 lakh crore (more than 11.9 million kg) were seized from 2014 to 2026, against ₹40,000 crore (2.6 million kg) in 2004โ14. A four-tier NCORD (Narco Coordination Centre) mechanism was set up in 2019, and agreements have been signed with 46 countries. Lakhs of 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Mitras' will be trained through NCC, NSS and MY Bharat.
