Three new Alliance Air flights connecting Manipur launched

Alliance Air flights on three routes from Imphal, Manipur, were flagged off on 15 January 2025 by Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu, who joined virtually, and Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh at Imphal Airport. The two new routes are Imphal–Kolkata and Imphal–Guwahati, along with an additional Imphal–Dimapur flight. The flights are a joint effort of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Manipur government and run with Viability Gap Funding (VGF) support from the state. The minister said a Master Plan 2047 has been developed for airports across the North East, including Imphal Airport.
