Aizawl hosts Mizoram's first regional conference on cooperative reforms for North-Eastern states

Representatives of all eight North-Eastern states — Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura and Sikkim — attended along with NABARD, NCDC, NAFED, NDDB and other bodies, and reviewed progress on PACS expansion, cooperative banking, grain storage and organic value chains. Ministry of Cooperation Secretary Dr Ashish Kumar Bhutani said a one-size-fits-all model cannot work in the North-East.
