On 9 April 2025, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu chaired the signing of a contract between Airbus and Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt. Ltd. for the manufacture and assembly of the H130 helicopter fuselage, at the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Airbus India and South Asia President and MD Remi Maillard and Mahindra Group CEO and MD Anish Shah attended. The minister said Mahindra Aerostructures, set up in 2011, already supplies parts and assemblies to global players such as Airbus, and called the contract a sign of confidence in Indian industry under Make in India.
