Swap transplants are estimated to increase the number of transplants by up to 15%, and NOTTO has recommended swap donor transplantation to all States and Union Territories. AIIMS Raipur has performed 54 kidney transplants so far, with a graft survival rate of 95% and a patient survival rate of 97%.
