More than 284 crore Aadhaar authentication transactions were carried out in January 2025, a growth of over 32% from 214.8 crore in January 2024, according to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on 7 February 2025. On average over nine crore authentications take place daily and nearly 550 entities use the service. About 12 crore Aadhaar face authentication transactions, based on UIDAI's in-house AI/ML solution, were recorded in January, and cumulative face authentications have crossed 102 crore since October 2021. Aadhaar e-KYC transactions crossed 43 crore in the month.
