The 9th ASEAN–India Ministerial Meeting on Agriculture and Forestry (AIMMAF) was held in New Delhi on 9 September 2026, co-chaired by Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Francisco P. Tiu Laurel, Secretary of Agriculture of the Philippines, representing the chair of ASEAN agriculture ministers. Ministers welcomed ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future and the ASEAN Food, Agriculture and Forestry Sectoral Plan 2026–2030, and looked forward to an ASEAN–India Medium-Term Plan of Action for Cooperation in Agriculture and Forestry 2026–2030. Priority areas include climate-resilient agriculture, low-emission rice, AI-enabled digital agriculture, soil health and resilient value chains. The 'India–ASEAN Friendship Spike for Agriculture and Forestry' was unveiled, and the 10th meeting will be held in 2028. The 10th ASEAN–India Agriculture Working Group met on 8 September.
