The 7th Jan Aushadhi Diwas was observed across the country on 7 March 2025 with the theme 'Jan Aushadhi: Daam Kam Dawai Uttam'. It ended a week-long celebration that began on 1 March with the Jan Aushadhi Jan Chetna Abhiyan. Over 350 events were held with about 50,000 participants. More than 200 new Jan Aushadhi Kendras opened, taking the total to 15,291. Union Minister J.P. Nadda visited the Jan Aushadhi Kendra at AIIMS Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited a Kendra at Ashok Vihar. Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik made a sand sculpture on the theme at Niladri Beach, Puri. The Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI) implements the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP), which began in November 2008 as the Jan Aushadhi Scheme of the Department of Pharmaceuticals.
