This was the fourth time the Army Day Parade was held outside Delhi and the first time outside an army cantonment, on Mahal Road in the heart of the city. South Western Command hosted the parade for the first time, after Bengaluru, Lucknow and Pune since 2023. In a first, Bhairav Battalion contingents from the Rajputana Rifles and the Sikh Light Infantry marched, and over one lakh spectators watched the parade.
