5th Kautilya Economic Conclave to be held 3–5 October 2026 on 'Resilience in an Age of Flux'

The Finance Ministry announced on 1 October 2026 that the 5th Kautilya Economic Conclave, organised by the Institute of Economic Growth with the Ministry, will be held in New Delhi from 3 to 5 October 2026 under the theme 'Resilience in an Age of Flux'.

The 5th Kautilya Economic Conclave (KEC 2026) will bring together policymakers, economists and experts in New Delhi from 3 to 5 October 2026, including over 80 international participants from about 30 countries. Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan is to give the inaugural address and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will address a plenary on 'India's Economic Priorities'. The conclave is an initiative of the Institute of Economic Growth (IEG), founded by Prof. V.K.R.V. Rao in 1952, in partnership with the Ministry of Finance.
