On 29 November 2024, the two-day 48th meeting of the National Committee of Archivists (NCA) concluded at the Statue of Unity, Kevadiya (Ekta Nagar), Gujarat. It was only the second NCA meeting in Gujarat; the 32nd was held at Gandhinagar on 7 June 1982. The meeting was jointly organised by the National Archives of India and the Gujarat State Archives and inaugurated by Arun Singhal, Director General of Archives and NCA Chairman. An online portal of the Gujarat State Archives, which has digitised its entire records holding, was launched. Books released included 'The Diary of Manu Gandhi: 1946-1948', edited by Prof Tridip Suhrud.
