- An Indian-born female cheetah, KGP12, gave birth to four cubs in the wild at Kuno National Park, Madhya Pradesh, the first recorded birth in the wild since cheetah reintroduction began in 2022, Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav said on 11 April 2026.
