Summary
At the India–Vietnam Defence Policy Dialogue, both sides reviewed cooperation in hydrography, training, UN peacekeeping, port calls and niche areas such as AI and shipyard upgrades, and agreed to deepen ties in cyber security, real-time information exchange and military medicine. Besides the submarine search-and-rescue agreement, they signed a Letter of Intent on defence industry cooperation covering transfer of technology, joint research, joint ventures and equipment production.
