The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) and the Korea Coast Guard (KCG) held their 13th High-Level Meeting in New Delhi on 21 July 2025, discussing cooperation in maritime search and rescue, pollution response and maritime law enforcement under their 2006 MoU. Director General ICG S Paramesh and KCG Commissioner General Kim Yong Jin co-chaired the meeting. The five-member KCG delegation was in India from 20 to 24 July 2025 and was to visit Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited and an ICG patrol vessel in Mumbai on 23-24 July.
