India hosts 10th Session of APDIM on inclusive disaster risk data governance
The 10th Session of the Asian and Pacific Centre for Development of Disaster Information Management (APDIM), on Inclusive Disaster Risk Data Governance, was held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, the Ministry of Home Affairs said on 22 November 2025.

India's delegation to the APDIM session was led by MoS Home Affairs Nityanand Rai, with NDMA Member Rajendra Singh and Secretary Manish Bharadwaj. Rai said that under India's Chairmanship, India will champion capacity building in risk assessment, geospatial applications, impact-based forecasting, early warning dissemination and climate-resilient infrastructure. India said its partnership with UN ESCAP and APDIM is guided by PM Narendra Modi's 10-Point Agenda for Disaster Risk Reduction.
